The first time I had apple chips, I was hooked. But at about $10 a bag, my wallet felt differently! So, I decided to make a big tray of these super healthy chips, and it was gone in few minutes! Follow the recipe below and try it out!
Ingredients:
- 5 lbs fuji apples, washed and seeded
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Lemon
Directions:
- Slice the apples as thin as you can and place them on a pan. Use a mandolin if available!
- Squeeze half of the lemon onto the apples and toss together.
- Season with cinnamon.
- Bake at 280°F for 3 to 4 hours.
- After two hours rotate the pan to make to make sure its evenly cook.
- Allow to cool.
- Thats it! How easy was that?😋
Note:
You can use Washington apples or any red apple. It’s best not to use Granny Smith as they’re too sour!
