Apple Chips

The first time I had apple chips, I was hooked. But at about $10 a bag, my wallet felt differently! So, I decided to make a big tray of these super healthy chips, and it was gone in few minutes! Follow the recipe below and try it out!

Ingredients:

  • 5 lbs fuji apples, washed and seeded
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Lemon

Directions:

  1. Slice the apples as thin as you can and place them on a pan. Use a mandolin if available!
  2. Squeeze half of the lemon onto the apples and toss together.
  3. Season with cinnamon.
  4. Bake at 280°F for 3 to 4 hours.
  5. After two hours rotate the pan to make to make sure its evenly cook.
  6. Allow to cool.
  7. Thats it! How easy was that?😋

Note:

You can use Washington apples or any red apple. It’s best not to use Granny Smith as they’re too sour!
