Boba

Beat the heat with these 3 popular flavors of this iconic Asian beverage!

Ingredients:

  • Tapioca pearl (boba)
  • 2 cups chopped avocados
  • 2 cups chopped mangoes
  • 2 cups chopped papaya
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • Ice

Directions:

  1. In a pot, boil 2 cups of water.
  2. Add the tapioca. Cook until tender.
  3. Add 1/2 cuo of sugar and simmer for another 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
  4. In a blender, add 2 cups avocado, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup milk, and 1 cup of ice. Blend until smooth. Adjust the sugar according to your preference.
  5. In a tall glass, add 1/4 cup boba and the avocado smoothie. Do the same procedure with the other flavors. Enjoy!

Note:

You can adjust the milk and sugar according to your preference. Other flavors you can try are green tea, strawberry or mocha.

Bring the water to a boil then add the boba.
Cook the boba and let cool.
Add about 2 tablespoons of tapioca in each glass.
