Make this simple chip-n-guac recipe your go-to for big parties and tailgates!
Ingredients:
- 5 avocados
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 roma tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1 cup cilantro, chopped finely
- 1 lime
- 1 jalapeno, chopped finely
Directions:
- Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
- Scoop out all the avocado and place in a bowl with the salt.
- Mash the avocado and salt with a fork until smooth.
- Add the juice of one lime.
- Add the tomatoes, onion, garlic, cilantro. Mix thoroughly.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
Note:
Avocadoes here in Texas are slightly larger than tennis balls, so be sure to adjust the amount of avocadoes you use depending on how much smaller or larger yours are!
