Guacamole

Make this simple chip-n-guac recipe your go-to for big parties and tailgates!

Ingredients:

  • 5 avocados
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 roma tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped finely
  • 1 lime
  • 1 jalapeno, chopped finely

Directions:

  1. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
  2. Scoop out all the avocado and place in a bowl with the salt.
  3. Mash the avocado and salt with a fork until smooth.
  4. Add the juice of one lime.
  5. Add the tomatoes, onion, garlic, cilantro. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips.

Note:

Avocadoes here in Texas are slightly larger than tennis balls, so be sure to adjust the amount of avocadoes you use depending on how much smaller or larger yours are!

Mash the avocado with the salt.
Mash it until smooth.
Squeeze the juice of one lime.

Mix thoroughly.
Serve in a tortilla cups.
