I first discovered this snack one day as I was watching Dr.Oz. Later on, I came across kale chips on articles, blogs and in magazines. I had to try it out! After making my first batch, I was instantly hooked. I’m sure you will be too!
Ingredients:
- 2 bunches fresh organic kale
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
- Wash the kale and get it as air-dried as possible. I like to leave mine on the counter overnight or use a salad spinner.
- Chop the kale into bite sized pieces.
- Season with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Grease a large baking pan with olive oil.
- Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes OR until crispy. Make sure you toss the kale and rotate the pan intermittently so it will cook evenly.
- Enjoy!
Note:
Baking time will ultimately depend on how dry your kale is. If not completely air-dried, it will take longer baking!
