Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Russet potatoes
- 1 tbsp salt
- Vegetable,oil for frying
- Salt and pepper
- Ranch seasoning powder
Directions:
- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Using a mandoline, cut the potatoes in thin slices.
- Directly place the potatoes in a bowl of cold water mix with a tablespoon of salt to prevent from browning.
- Let it stand in salted water for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, drain the potatoes and allow to dry for an hour on a cloth or dry with paper towels.
- Heat your oil in a deep fryer.
- Add the potatoes by batches and fry until golden brown. Making sure you stir it once in a while.
- Do this until you finish all the potatoes.
- Place in a dish and seasoned with salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning powder.
- Serve while warm. Yummy!
Note:
If you don’t have a mandolin you can either use a peeler or just manually cut it.
