Classic Garlic Fried Rice

This fried rice is the perfect pair for my tosilog, tapsilog and longsilog recipe. They work together so well. Try it and you’ll love it!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups leftover rice
  • 7 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp rock salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Chives

Directions:

  1. Using a mortar and pestle pound the garlic and salt.
  2. In a saute pan, add and heat the olive oil and butter.
  3. Add the garlic and saute until light brown.
  4. Add the rice and continue sauteeing for another 10 to 15 minutes until the rice is golden brown.
  5. Transfer to a plate and sprinkle some rock salt and chopped chives on top. Yum!😋
