Who doesn’t like fried chicken? A lot of people have their own version or recipe for good fried chicken, and this one’s mine! I promise this recipe won’t disappoint. This chicken is moist on the inside, crispy on the outside! I can’t have enough of this chicken, it’s so good!
Ingredients:
- 5 pcs chicken legs or thighs
- buttermilk
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the batter:
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp chicken flavor
- 4 eggs
Directions:
- In a bowl, add buttermilk, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine.
- Add the chicken, making sure it’s submerged.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and place in a colander to drain.
- In a bowl, add eggs and beat well.
- In another dish, add all the ingredients for the batter except for the eggs. Mix well to combine.
- Roll the chicken in the batter until the entire chicken is covered.
- Dip the chicken in beaten eggs.
- Roll back to the batter.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
- Serve and enjoy!
