Steamed Kangkong with Spicy Chili Garlic Sauce

This filipino dish is serve as an appetizer or as a side dish. Either way their delicious. Kangkong or water spinach is available on any asian store. They’re usually seasonal so grab a bunch when you see it.

Ingredients:

  • Bunch of kangkong (water spinach)
  • Shrimp paste
  • Spicy chili garlic sauce

Directions:

  1. Wash the kangkong and cut the hard end off of each stem.
  2. Steam until wilted, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Serve while warm with chili garlic sauce and shrimp paste.
  4. Thats it. Enjoy!

Note:

Shrimp paste and chili garlic sauce is also available at any Asian store.
