When you’re having a steak for dinner, the most simple seasoning is the best! Pair it with sauteed rice and fresh vegetables for a quick, easy, delicious dinner!
Ingredients:
- 2 pcs t-bone steak
- Montreal steak seasoning
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cups brown rice
- 1 tbsp italian seasonings
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 4 cups chicken stock
- Chopped fresh vegetables (green, red, yellow bell pepper)
- olive oil
Directions:
- In a heated pot, add 3 tbsp olive oil.
- Add the italian seasonings and saute for a few seconds.
- Add the rice, salt, and pepper. Saute the rice on high heat until the rice is opaque, this should take about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Add the chicken stock. Bring to a boil and simmer until the rice has absorb all the liquid and tender.
- In a heated pan, add 2 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp butter.
- When the oil is hot add the steak and cook for 5 to 8 minutes per side.
- Transfer the steak into a dish and add 1 tbsp butter on top of each steak. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Serve the steak with rice and veggies. Enjoy!
