Mango Tomato Salsa

Fried fish and pork chops are popular in the Philippines, but make no mistake, these are heavy dishes! This condiment saves the day by balancing fried food with a sweet and tangy flavor to please the palate. Try it out!



Ingredients:

  • 1 medium sized red onion, finely chopped
  • 3 roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 Manila mangoes or ataulfo , peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. In a big bowl, add everything together.
  2. Mix well until combined.
  3. Serve with a dish of your choice!
